acancellation policy Beth Rosen, RD

Yes, I have a strict cancellation policy.

Why?  Because I believe in providing my clients with excellent service. In fact, that is why I'm in private practice!  I care about your health, sometimes more than you do.  While you may be willing to put your healthcare needs on hold, for any number of reasons (i.e., it's not convenient, you didn't do your "homework," your kids have to get to soccer, etc.), it only hurts you in the long run AND it hurts my bottom line.  Although my passion is to be helpful, I am running a business versus running a not-for-profit charity.

I ask that you provide me with 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations and rescheduled appointments (airlines, hotels, spas & restaurants do this too). When you book an appointment, that time is exclusively reserved for YOU.  When you cancel, not only do I lose YOUR business, but I also lose the business of another individual who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Cancelled appointments often cannot be filled on short notice (and I never overbook).

There is a $50 fee for no-show appointments and mentoring sessions that are canceled with less than 48 hours' notice. The second no-show/cancellation will result in a charge of the entire fee for service.

An appointment will be marked as a no-show if 10 minutes have passed and you have not joined our session.

I have a heart and reserve the right to not charge you for a first offense or if I deem it appropriate for the situation. Please do your best to take care of yourself by showing up for your appointments, both physically and mentally, and I will do the same.

Thanks!
